BIOSERV can proudly look back on more than 33 years of company history. Founded in 1991, the company has developed from a small food testing laboratory into a modern provider of complex analyses in the fields of food and feed, medical devices and pharmaceuticals, as well as water testing and hygiene and environmental monitoring, supporting customers throughout the entire life cycle of their products. The owner-managed company employs over 50 people across its 2 sites. In addition to the headquarters in the Hanseatic city of Rostock, there is a second location in San Diego, USA.
BIOSERV currently serves more than 1,000 customers from the region, Germany and other European and non-European countries. The customer base includes manufacturers in the healthcare and medical supply industries, food manufacturers from producers to artisanal businesses, large-scale industrial producers, the catering industry, retailers and logistics service providers.
BIOSERV Analytik und Medizinprodukte does much more than provide reliable analyses: the company sees itself as a practice-oriented laboratory that provides independent support in the implementation of relevant regulations and standards. In addition to professional requirements, the focus is on your profitability and consumer safety.

The company continuously invests in the expansion of environmentally friendly energy concepts and has its own honey bees on the green area.
As a regional company, BIOSERV is also involved in sports sponsorship. As a sponsor, BIOSERV supports the youth sports of the wrestling department of the SV Warnemünde 1949 e.V. and the annual riding tournament of the Parkentin riding and driving club.
